Creating Purposeful Leadership

PURPOSE On a departmental level and as a subset of the company’s purpose, what is the purpose of your function, department or team? What are you fundamentally here to do? VISION Where will the people you lead be at a specific point in time in the future? What have you done to co-create this vision with your team and other stakeholders? ENGAGEMENT How effective and systematic is engagement for you, your team and your other stakeholders? How do you currently engage, what methods do you use and what gaps can you identify? STRUCTURE What structures and processes can you put in place to enable your purpose and vision to be delivered efficiently? For example, team structure, performance objectives, reviews, charts, diagrams, meetings, policies and plans.
